The Minister of Public Health Meets with Officials of Indira Gandhi Hospital

The Minister of Public Health of the IEA, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, held a coordination meeting with the officials and specialists of the Cardiology and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) departments at Indira Gandhi Children’s Hospital to discuss measures for further improving and standardizing the quality of services provided by these departments.

The meeting was attended by Qari Abdul Wali Siddiqi, Deputy Minister for Finance and Administrative Affairs; Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, Deputy Minister for Health Services; and several senior officials of the Ministry. The participants discussed the current status of the hospital’s Cardiology and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) departments, available resources, ongoing operations, and measures to further strengthen and standardize the services provided by these departments.

The officials and specialists of Indira Gandhi Children’s Hospital also outlined their key challenges, needs, and recommendations. The Minister of Public Health assured them that their concerns would be addressed and appropriate measures would be taken in line with available resources.

The Minister also instructed the hospital’s officials and specialists to step up their efforts to enhance the quality of cardiology and intensive care services, ensure the provision of standardized healthcare services, and further improve the quality of care and treatment for children.
