Cabinet hails the successful implementation of Polio Eradication Program

The Polio Eradication program of Afghanistan was presented by Dr. S.M. Amin Fatimie, Minister of Public Health of Afghanistan at the cabinet meeting on Monday August 4, 2008.



MoPH enhances health services to inject drug users

It is facing every country in the world. It is increasingly turning into global and regional threat for all population particularly young children and women.



Analysis and identification of the excavated remains of the late President Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan

According to decree 645 of His Excellency Hamid Karzai the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, a Commission chaired by H.E the Deputy Minister for Technical Affairs of the Ministry of Public Health Dr Faizullah Kakar and six members Gen. Mohammad Hassan Khan, Gen. Padsha Mir, Moh. Daud Hashimi, Sardar Mahmmod Ghazi, Qasim Baaz and Mawla Gul, was appointed for the analysis and identification of the excavated remains of the late President Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan, members of his family and aides.



Afghanistan has got valuable improvements in Basic Package of Health Services

In order to further strengthen the delivery of Basic Package of Health Services, the Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is in the process of signing contracts with non governmental service providers.



World Bank President lauds the supply of basic health services

After a formal visit to Afghanistan, the President of World Bank Group Mr. Robert B. Zoellick has written an article stating his impressions about current state of security, governance and development in Afghanistan.
