Marja, Nad- Ali Refugees Receive Medicine and Food Stuff
The refugees of Marja and Nad- Ali districts of Helmand province were assisted with medicine and food stuff with a total cost of $30000 on Saturday February27th.

The assisted items were handed over by Afghanistan MoPH assigned officials to the delegate of refugees who fled to Lashkargah city – the center of Helmand province. The above items were granted by traders of Kandahar Association of Pharmaceutical services. The items were comprised of 10 tons of various medicines as well as two tons of food stuff including rice, oil, biscuit and milk powder.

The total number of Marja and Nad- Ali families who have fled to Lashkargah city is around 3830. They had been displaced recently due to the joint operations being launched by the Afghans and coalition forces.

In addition to appreciating the generous support made by the traders of Kandahar pharmaceutical services association, the Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan, in coordination with other support agencies, provides quality health services to the refugees of Marja and Nad Ali districts of Helmand province.
