The purpose of signing of this Memorandum of Understanding (M0U) is good management of health clinical waste from governmental and private hospitals. This will enable the Ministry of Public Health to solve some of the environmental problems in the country.
Dr. Sayed Qamar-u-ddin Offiz, Acting Deputy Minister for Finance and Administration of the Ministry of Public Health said “Management of clinical waste in the elimination and reduction of dangerous microbial diseases have a direct impact. He stated that the private sector is a good partner of the Ministry of Public Health and we are committed to support them”
Dr. Fardin Ghrman Director of Private Hospitals Association in Kabul, said “ By signing this MoU the private sector will have the chance to fulfill its social responsibility by taking steps towards improving the environment and making the lives of Kabul citizens better.” He added that the private sector associations with the Ministry of Public Health have a comprehensive cooperation and will not spare any efforts to implement the memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the best way it is possible.
