50 Beds Hospital Inaugurated in Nijrab District of Kapisa Province

H.E. Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of the National Unity Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and Dr. Ferozuddin Feroz, the Minister of Public Health inaugurated a 50-bed hospital in Nijrab district of Kapisa Province on Saturday August 21st, 2017. 
 
This hospital was built with the financial support from the French government for the cost of 75,000 euros and 1,800,000 Afghanis from Ministry of Public Health budget. In addition to providing health services to 140 thousand residents of Nijrab district, it also provides health services to 130 thousand people of the neighboring districts of Tagab and Alhasai. It is noteworthy that the hospital provides health services to the victims of traffic incidents from the cities of Sorobi and Mahmmod Raqi the capital city of Kapisa province too.
 
Providing quality health services in fully equipped and standardized health centers and reducing maternal and newborn mortality rate are the priorities of the Ministry of Public Health.
