These supplies—provided by the Ministry of Public Health with the financial support of several international organisations—aim to enhance the Kuchis’ access to essential healthcare services.

Mohammad Zarak Zeerak, the director of Public Health in Logar Province, stated that these medicines would play a significant role in addressing the health challenges faced by the Kuchi community, adding that efforts to further strengthen healthcare services for this population are ongoing. He emphasised that the medicines would be highly beneficial in delivering basic health services to Kuchis, who spend a large portion of their lives in constant mobility. He also urged all healthcare workers to ensure the timely and unobstructed delivery of these medicines to patients in need, so that those who genuinely require them can fully benefit.

Moreover, representatives of the Kuchi community welcomed this initiative and called for the continuous assessment of healthcare centres and the resolution of existing challenges.
