Minister of Public Health meets with officials from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)

His Excellency Dr. Qalandar Ebad, the Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, held a meeting in his office with officials from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

Present at the meeting were the Deputy Secretary General of the OIC in Human, Cultural, and Social Affairs; as well as the accompanying delegation with him.

 

His Excellency Dr. Qalandar Ebad, in a cordial manner, extended a warm welcome to the officials of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and stressed the importance of their support and cooperation in the health sector. Furthermore, he provided the delegation with an overview of the prevailing health situation in Afghanistan.

 

Simultaneously, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation expressed the organization's willingness to collaborate with Afghanistan in the field of health, particularly in providing assistance for healthcare facilities, nutrition, and other related areas.
