Ministry of Public Health Signs $10,349,099 Agreement with HealthNet TPO to Expand Health Services in Paktia

The 1.5-year agreement will provide basic and specialized healthcare services to residents of Paktia through BPHS centers, aiming to improve access to essential health services.

This project will create employment opportunities for approximately 1,538 people across various health-related fields.

Officials from the Ministry of Public Health stated that the agreement aims to enhance service quality, increase access to healthcare, and address pressing health challenges. The initiative will deliver essential health services to Paktia residents while also generating job opportunities for 1,538 individuals.

Representatives of HealthNet TPO expressed confidence that the project will be successfully implemented within the planned timeframe, while meeting required standards and prioritizing community health needs.

The Ministry of Public Health reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with national and international partners to strengthen healthcare services and improve health facilities across all provinces of the country.
