MoPH Launches Second Phase of Advanced Training for Pharmaceutical Evaluators

Kabul, Afghanistan — Hosted at Deputy Minister's Office for Food and Drugs’ auditorium, the program involves 23 new recruits receiving focused training on the assessment of pharmaceutical products, herbal remedies, medical devices, and vaccines. The initiative aims to build technical capacity and promote adherence to both national and international regulatory standards.

Dr. Naeemullah Ayoubi, Director General of Pharmaceuticals and Health Products, emphasized the importance of aligning with global practices. He underscored the need for accuracy, efficiency, and transparency, encouraging participants to engage fully and strengthen their expertise.

Mr. Noor Ahmad Hanafi, Director of Registration and Evaluation, highlighted the essential role of the registration process in ensuring the legal and high-quality import and production of health products. He urged staff to adopt a responsible and solution-oriented mindset in their duties.

This training follows an earlier phase delivered to existing personnel, underscoring the Ministry’s commitment to building a robust and credible health regulatory system.
