در سال گذشته ١٤٠٢ هـ - ش نزدیک به ( ۴۹۵۵۳ ) عملیات جراحی رایگان در شفاخانه ملی و تخصصی وزیر محمد اکبر خان وزارت صحت‌عامه انجام یافته است

 این عملیات های جراحی شامل ۱۰ هزار و هشتصد و سه عمل جراحی بزرگ و ۳۸ هزار و هفتصد و پنجاه عمل جراحی کوچک می‌شوند که توسط متخصصین و داکتران مجرب افغان با موفقیت و به صورت رایگان اجرا شده است.

 همچنان در این شفاخانه برای ۲۲۳ هزار و چهارصد و هشتاد و یک بیمار خدمات OPD، و ۱۰۵ هزار و پنجصد و هفتاد بیمار ارتوپیدی و ۱۴ هزار و پنجصد و سی و نه نفر خدمات داخل بستر (IPD) ارائه شده‌ است.
