A meeting convened to review and finalize the budget for the development projects of the Ministry of Public Health

The meeting was led by Qari Abdul Wali Siddiqui, Deputy Minister of Finance and Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Public Health, with the participation of central directors and officials from the Ministry’s development projects.

While addressing the meeting, the Deputy Minister said, “I will take into consideration Resolution No. 2 of the Economic Commission.” He added that the implementation of these development projects depends on how effectively and appropriately the allocated budget has been utilized by the institutions in the previous and current fiscal years.

H.E. Siddiqui requested the officials of the development projects to provide the participants with information regarding budget expenditures, progress, and the implementation stages of the projects.

The officials of the development projects provided information to the leadership of the Ministry of Public Health regarding the expenditure and stages of the development budgets. They also pledged to take necessary measures in this regard, if required.
