Director of Monitoring Visits Herat Province to Inspect Public and Private Health Facilities

Dr. Karimullah Halimi, Director of Monitoring at the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), visited Herat province to inspect BPHS and EPHS vertical projects, along with several facilities in the private health sector.

The monitoring, aimed at improving the quality of health services in both public and private hospitals across the country, ensuring the provision of standard health services to citizens, and promoting transparency in operations, was carried out by Dr. Karimullah Halimi and his technical team, met with Mohammad Talib Shahid, Director of Public Health in Herat province, shared the objectives of their visit, and, according to the plan, conducted inspections of all departments of health centers in the provincial center, Chishti Sharif, Obe, Zinda Jan,Torghundi, Pashtun Zarghun, and  Ghoryan districts. They identified existing problems and shortcomings and shared them with the relevant officials for resolution.

The Director of  Monitoring also assessed the condition of inpatients and advised health workers to provide them with improved care and treatment.
