Dr. Ahmad Khandan, the Director of Private Sector Regulation and Coordination, along with his team, visited private healthcare centers in Nimroz and Helmand provinces

During the visit, the director met with owners and managers of unlicensed healthcare centers. He firmly advised them to obtain legal permits and follow the required guidelines. He stressed the importance of meeting health standards and warned that failure to comply could result in legal action. In response, the owners promised to take action and committed to visiting the Ministry of Public Health within two months to complete the licensing process.

The director also met with licensed healthcare centers to evaluate their performance and encourage continuous improvement. He instructed them to adhere to ministry guidelines and focus on quality service delivery. The officials expressed their willingness to enhance their facilities, train their staff, and improve healthcare services. They assured the director of their commitment to maintaining high standards and serving the public effectively.
