Last year, the Ministry of Public Health performed approximately 3,170 free surgical operations at the Badakhshan Provincial Hospital

Among these surgeries, 2,111 were major operations and 1,059 were minor, all successfully conducted free of charge by seasoned Afghan specialist doctors.

Additionally, the hospital provided comprehensive outpatient (OPD) services to 933,372 patients and inpatient (IPD) care to 30,544 patients, all free of cost.
