A meeting was convened for the better treatment and supplying medicines to hospitals
A meeting focused on enhancing coordination and supplying medicines to hospitals, chaired by Mawlawi Abdulwali Haqqani, Deputy Minister of Public Health Services, was convened with the directors of specialized and tertiary hospitals.
Not only did the deputy minister direct the hospital directors to relay their medicine requirements (for 3 to 9 months), including both medicines and medical supplies, to the Directorate of Specialized and Tertiary Hospitals at the Ministry of Public Health, but he also insisted that subsequent actions be taken based on this information.
Furthermore, the hospital officials were advised to place orders for essential medicines from the central stock of the Ministry of Public Health to ensure that patients' medical needs are adequately met.
