Ministry of Public Health Conducts Comprehensive Healthcare Assessment in Daikundi Province

Daikundi – In a move to evaluate and strengthen healthcare provision, the Director of Internal Audit at the Ministry of Public Health, Mawlawi Muhammad Salim Haqqani, led an official delegation to Daikundi province. The visit, carried out alongside a technical team, focused on the comprehensive assessment of service provision at the provincial hospital.

During the visit, the Internal Audit Director reviewed patient care practices, held discussions with hospital management, and examined key operational challenges. The team highlighted several service gaps and provided practical recommendations aimed at improving healthcare delivery and administrative performance.

In a parallel effort, Mawlawi Haqqani inspected a facility dedicated to the treatment of individuals struggling with addiction. He called on health workers to ensure timely intervention, demonstrate professional conduct, and uphold ethical standards in patient care. The Director emphasized the importance of maintaining both compassion and clinical excellence in line with national healthcare standards.
