The inspections were carried out by the Food and Drug Department under the Bamiyan Provincial Public Health Directorate, covering three bakeries and seven wholesalers. This resulted in the seizure of 15 expired food items, transferred to the central warehouse for disposal.

Food vendors were advised to follow hygiene protocols and ensure food safety compliance.
