Director of Forensic Medicine Visits Helmand Province to Assess Forensic Services

Mawlawi Najibullah Farooqi, Director of Forensic Medicine at the Ministry of Public Health, and his technical team visited Helmand province and met with the province’s Director of Public Health.

During the visit, Mawlawi Farooqi held a comprehensive discussion with Dr. Naqeebullah Fateh, Director of Public Health of Helmand province, regarding forensic medicine. The Helmand Public Health Director shared the existing challenges and needs in the forensic medicine sector and requested improved management and equipment for the forensic medicine department, as well as capacity building for the relevant healthcare staff, to ensure the public receives necessary and quality services.

The Director of Forensic Medicine assured that the existing challenges would be addressed and pledged full cooperation in the mentioned areas, stating that he will continue efforts to strengthen and further equip the forensic medicine departments.
