Over 10,000 Surgeries Successfully Performed at Indira Gandhi Children’s Hospital in One Year

Over the past year, a total of 10,938 successful surgical procedures were performed at Indira Gandhi Children’s Specialized and Tertiary Care Hospital.

Of these, 7,715 were major surgeries and 3,224 were minor procedures, all carried out by experienced doctors, reflecting the hospital’s strong technical capacity and specialized expertise.

It is also noteworthy that during the same period, 48,302 patients received inpatient (IPD) services, while 247,415 patients benefited from outpatient (OPD) healthcare services.
