Recovered Patients Graduate from Vocational Training Program in Farah
Thirty-seven recovered patients from the 80-bed Drug Rehabilitation Hospital in Farah Province have graduated after completing a three-month professional training program.
After three months of professional training, the graduates gained skills in plumbing, electrical work, solar systems, and motorcycle repair and were introduced to serve their communities.
Dr. Deen Mohammad Abdul Haq, Head of Public Health in Farah, emphasized strengthening the program, saying the directorate is working to provide better training and support for individuals recovering from addiction.
Two program graduates, Mohammad Sadiq and Enayatullah, said the training changed their lives, giving them new hope and skills to start a fresh chapter.
Notably, in addition to professional training, the graduates were provided with work tools and certificates.
