Inspection of Private Health Sector in Ghazni Province

The officials of the Ghazni Provincial Directorate of Public Health have undertaken the destruction of 23.5 tons of expired and substandard pharmaceuticals and consumables within the province.

The Monitoring and Inspection Department of the Ghazni Directorate of Public Health, in coordination with representatives from relevant institutions, conducted a thorough inspection of various pharmacies and establishments retailing food and cosmetic products in the central areas of Ghazni. Consequently, 23.5 tons of expired and substandard medicines, food items, and cosmetic products were identified, collected, and subsequently disposed of in a remote location within the province.
