In collaboration with the Global Fund, the Public Health Directorate of Paktia delivered a three-day training on the effective use of the DHIS2 national application to 16 health officials from Logar, Paktia, Paktika, and Khost provinces.

Expert trainers covered topics on health information management (HMIS), malaria, and tuberculosis, focusing on best practices in data management, accurate reporting, and data analysis, both theoretically and practically.

The DHIS2 system, developed by the Ministry of Public Health’s HMIS Department, facilitates the collection, storage, analysis, and sharing of health data and is also used internationally.
