30-Kilowatt Solar Power System Inaugurated at Chaharsadda District Hospital in Ghor Province

A 30-kilowatt solar power project at the Chaharsadda District Hospital in Ghor province has been inaugurated and officially commenced operations.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Sheikh Abdul Wahid Hamas, Director of Public Health for Ghor Province; the UNDP Central Zone Office representative, as well as local officials, community elders, and hospital staff.

The Director of Public Health for Ghor expressed his appreciation for the tireless efforts of the committed and dedicated hospital team, stating:

"Today, we witness the inauguration of a 30-kilowatt solar power project at this hospital. We are also grateful to the UNDP office for implementing solar energy projects across health centers in Ghor. We urge the hospital management to ensure proper maintenance and effective utilization of this solar system."

The project, financed by the UNDP office at a cost of 45,000 USD, has resolved electricity supply issues at the Chaharsadda District Hospital and is expected to play a vital role in enhancing the healthcare services provided by this facility.
