Respected Minister of Public Health, Dr Qalandar Ebad of The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Engages in A Productive Dialogue with Ambassador Zhao Sheng, Representing the People's Republic of China in Afghanistan, Within the Confines of His Office.
This meaningful meeting, convened on the 11th day of Rajab, delved into crucial subjects, including the rejuvenation of Jumhoriyat Hospital, augmentation of the capabilities of Afghan medical professionals, strategic investments in the healthcare sector, and comprehensive measures for the control and prevention of both COVID-19 and polio.
Dr Qalandar Ebad, emphasizing the paramount importance of diplomatic ties between Afghanistan and China, advocated for the imperative of bilateral collaboration between the two nations.
Furthermore, Dr Qalandar Ebad underscored the critical need for capacity-building initiatives targeting healthcare personnel, stating, "(Enhancing the capabilities of Afghan doctors stands as a central priority, and Afghanistan possesses a substantial human resource that warrants focused efforts in capacity building.)"
