Deputy Minister of Health Services convenes a meeting with General Manager of Red Crescent based in Qatar, in his office

Honorable Mawlwi Abdul Wali Haqqani, Deputy Minister of Health Services at the Ministry of Public Health, convened a meeting with Mr. Mohammad Salih Ibrahim, General Manager of the International Aid and Development Department at the Red Crescent based in Qatar, in his office.

During this meeting, the Minister of Health Services emphasized the importance of joint cooperation and coordination, requesting Mr. Ibrahim to support Afghanistan's health sector in various capacities.

Mr. Mohammad Salih Ibrahim, in turn, affirmed the Qatar Red Crescent's commitment to assisting the Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan. This support will encompass training health workers, managing and treating drug addiction, and establishing health centers in remote regions.

Furthermore, in the presence of Honorable Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, the delegation visited the cardiac department at Indira Gandi Children's Health Hospital. The Qatar Red Crescent pledged to collaborate with the Ministry of Public Health's leadership to enhance this department.
