Deputy Minister Leads Strategic Health Coordination Meeting with Cooperative Foundations in Balkh Province

Balkh, Afghanistan – Malawi Bakht-ur-Rahman Sharafat, the Deputy Minister for Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Public Health, paid an official visit to Balkh province, where he convened a high-level meeting with representatives of active cooperative foundations operating in the region.
The session was attended by Al-Hajj Rahmatullah Mansoor, Director of Public Health for Balkh province, along with senior members of the Provincial Health Directorate’s management team. The agenda encompassed a wide range of strategic discussions, including current initiatives, persistent challenges, recorded achievements, and forward-looking development plans.
During his remarks, Deputy Minister Sharafat underscored the imperative of strengthened inter-institutional collaboration, urging all stakeholders to “roll up their sleeves” in a united effort to advance the country's reconstruction, rehabilitation, and sustainable growth. He emphasized that fulfilling national responsibilities requires collective engagement and unwavering commitment.
Furthermore, Director Al-Hajj Rahmatullah Mansoor reiterated the significance of cohesive coordination among cooperative entities, highlighting that procedures such as examinations, memoranda of understanding (MoUs), and other regulatory mechanisms must be treated with utmost seriousness. He called for transparent communication and the regular sharing of operational data with the Provincial Health Directorate to ensure oversight and alignment with national health objectives.
