Health and Food Safety Inspections Conducted in Balkh, Ghor, and Jawzjan Provinces
The Monitoring and Inspection Departments of the Provincial Public Health Directorates in Balkh, Ghor, and Jawzjan conducted inspection drives targeting pharmacies, clinics, diagnostic centers, food outlets, and supermarkets.
During the operation, 13 substandard food items were seized in Balkh, five pharmacies were shut down in Ghor, while 20 expired products were confiscated in Jawzjan and sent to the central warehouse for disposal.
Officials were instructed to align their services with the Ministry of Public Health’s standards and ensure full compliance with regulations.
