Healthcare Services Remain Fully Operational During Eid al-Fitr in Laghman, Providing Care to Over 2,200 Patients

During the three days of Eid al-Fitr, approximately 2,200 patients received medical services across 15 healthcare facilities in Laghman province, addressing a wide range of health concerns. These services were provided in an organized and efficient manner, ensuring both urgent and routine medical needs were met. Healthcare professionals remained fully engaged, demonstrating unwavering commitment to patient care.
The services, delivered across 14 health centers in addition to Laghman Provincial Hospital, encompassed 790 emergency outpatient treatments, 118 trauma cases, and various other medical interventions. Emergency cases were managed with the highest level of urgency, while routine consultations proceeded without disruption. Furthermore, preventive healthcare measures continued to be implemented, underscoring the province’s commitment to public health and disease prevention.
In accordance with the directive issued by the Ministry of Public Health, healthcare facilities remained fully operational throughout the Eid period to ensure uninterrupted medical services. This directive facilitated timely medical interventions, reassured the public regarding the availability of healthcare, and reinforced the ministry’s commitment to maintaining accessible and efficient health services.
