Kabul Food Factory Shut Down Over Fraudulent Food Coloring Practices

Officials from the Food and Drug Safety Surveillance and Evaluation Department of the Ministry of Public Health conducted inspections of two manufacturing plants in Kabul City.
During the inspection, officials identified fraudulent packaging of food coloring, suspicious use of food colors and industrial colorants, non-compliance with hygiene regulations, and improper storage of raw materials and finished products in these factories.
As a result of this monitoring, authorities shut down a factory due to deceptive packaging of food coloring.
