Laboratory Department Inaugurated at 50-Bed Drug Addiction Treatment Hospital in Ghazni
The laboratory department at the 50-Bed Drug Addiction Treatment Hospital in Ghazni has officially commenced operations under the Provincial Public Health Directorate.
Established through the efforts of the Public Health Directorate and hospital leadership, the lab now conducts essential diagnostic tests — including HIV, HCV, HBs, and Multi-Drug Tests — directly on-site.
In the past two days alone, the lab has tested 50 patients. HCV and HBs-positive inpatients will also be referred here for enhanced treatment monitoring, helping reduce both time and costs for patients.
