Laboratory Unit Opens at Burn Surgery Hospital in Balkh

Health officials from the Balkh Provincial Public Health Directorate (BPPHD) in Balkh province have inaugurated a new laboratory to support the Burn Surgery Hospital, the 50-bed Oncology Hospital, and the Hemodialysis Department.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Ashraf Rawan, Head of Balkh Regional Hospital; Dr. Farid Seraji, Head of the Burn Hospital, and other senior medical officials.

The lab, based in the Burn Hospital, will enhance diagnostics for burn, cancer, and dialysis patients across all three facilities.
