The meeting, which was attended by Dr. Haider Khan Haider, General Director of Disease Control and Prevention at the Ministry of Public Health; Advisors to the deputy minister for Health Services; Dr. Hakim Himmat, the Head of Mass Immunization; and representatives of the Bill Gates and Melinda Foundation, focused on strengthening health initiatives.

In the meeting, they discussed the effectiveness of the Mass Immunization Program (MIP), the eradication of the polio virus, and the program's services, especially in the six districts where the coverage of the program is low.

The Deputy Minister, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, welcomed and supported the aforementioned programs, and he requested further cooperation from the representatives of the Bill Gates Foundation in this regard.
