The Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, visited the Hittin Primary Health Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, during his official trip.

During the visit, he engaged with the center’s administrative and technical staff, gathering detailed information on its preventive, curative, and diagnostic services.

The Minister stated: “After many years, we have launched reforms in our primary and secondary healthcare services to establish a robust district-level health system. By learning from the healthcare systems of neighbouring and regional countries—assessing their efficiency, analyzing data, and evaluating outcomes—we aim to enhance our own services. This will allow us to provide modern, effective healthcare aligned with disease prevalence, population trends, and the evolving needs of our people.”

He added that modern medical technology has brought significant innovations. By leveraging these experiences, we can restructure the national healthcare system to meet current demands, ensuring effective disease prevention, control, and timely treatment.
