MoPH Internal Audit Director Leads Oversight Mission to Panjshir Province

Mawlawi Mohammad Saleem Haqqani, Director of Internal Audit at the Ministry of Public Health, led a technical delegation to Panjshir province, where he held a consultative meeting with the provincial governor, Mullah Mohammad Agha Hakim, as part of an official oversight mission.
The meeting centred on improving healthcare and tackling ongoing challenges in the province. Governor Mawlawi Mohammad Agha Hakim gave his assurance that the provincial administration would work hand in hand with central authorities to bolster the health sector. He emphasised that high-level visits by senior Ministry of Public Health officials go a long way (play an important role) in ironing out persistent issues and streamlining access to essential medical services.
The Director of Internal Audit stated that all challenges would be addressed collectively to improve health services, and efforts would be made to bring about significant changes in the health sector, taking into account the situation of Panjshir province, so that the necessary facilities could be provided for the people.
The Public Health Directorate conducted an annual 1447 AH assessment visit to evaluate the quality of health services, identify key challenges, and ensure timely delivery of essential services to the public.
