MoPH Signs $383,873 Agreement with BDN to Expand Healthcare Services in Seven Provinces of Afghanistan
The Ministry of Public Health has signed a contract worth $383,873 with the BDN organization to strengthen and expand healthcare services for residents of Badakhshan, Balkh, Sar-e-Pul, Jawzjan, Takhar, Maidan Wardak, and Kunduz provinces.
The agreement was signed for one year to improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare services and reduce public health challenges. Its implementation will enable 304,348 residents of the provinces to receive basic health services through 27 Family Health Houses (FHHs) and will also create employment opportunities for 188 health workers.
Representatives of the BDN organization assured that the project will be implemented within one year in accordance with all set standards and will give special attention to meeting the healthcare needs of the population.
