MoU Signed Between Independent Administrative Reform Directorate and Ministry of Public Health to Streamline Administrative Processes

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formally signed between the Independent Administrative Reform Directorate and the Ministry of Public Health to streamline and simplify administrative procedures.

During the meeting, which was attended by Sheikh-ul-Hadith Mawlawi Noor-ul-Haq Anwar, Director General of the Administrative Affairs Office; Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, Minister of Public Health; deputy ministers of the Ministry of Public Health; Sheikh Mohammad Tariq Tawus, Director General of the Civil Service Administration; central directors, and senior officials from various government departments, the significance of the MoU was discussed.

Sheikh-ul-Hadith Mawlawi Noorul Haq Anwar regarded the process simplification initiative as a substantial accomplishment and a positive development for the government, the Ministry of Public Health, and the public. He underscored that this initiative would allow the Ministry of Public Health to expedite operations, enhance transparency, and achieve results in a timelier manner.

His Highness, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, Minister of Public Health, emphasized the role of the MoU in promoting operational efficiency, ensuring transparency, eliminating wastage of time, and effectively addressing the healthcare needs of the population. He stated, "Our objective is to improve the quality of healthcare services, expand accessibility, and foster greater transparency in the ministry's work."

Additionally, the Minister informed the attendees of the ministry's ongoing efforts, such as establishing district-level hospitals, recruiting specialists in underserved provinces, introducing quota systems for these provinces, creating a self-sustaining healthcare system, and expanding health services to meet the public's healthcare requirements.

Sheikh Mohammad Tariq Tawus, Director General of the Civil Service Administration, acknowledged the progress made in the past three years and emphasized that the MoU would be implemented across all government departments. He further elaborated that the primary goal is to simplify operational workflows, eliminate redundant paperwork, reduce delays, and ensure that tasks are completed within stipulated timeframes and with full transparency. This process will be applied not only at the capital but also in the provinces.
