Food Store Monitoring in Helmand

The Food and Drug Department of the Helmand Public Health Directorate inspected several food stores in Lashkargah city. During the inspection, 153 kilograms of expired food and cosmetic products were collected and sent for disposal.

Store owners were instructed to avoid selling expired items. They were warned that legal action would be taken if they failed to follow the rules.
