Kunduz – MoPH’s Internal Audit Director Reviews Provincial Healthcare Delivery

Kunduz – In a move to step up oversight of provincial health systems, the Director of Internal Audit at the Ministry of Public Health, Mawlawi Mohammad Saleem Haqqani, paid an official visit to Kunduz province to take stock of the current state of healthcare delivery. He convened a joint meeting with healthcare professionals and senior members of the Food and Drug Union, joined by Deputy Governor Mawlawi Habiburrahman Sohaib.

The meeting was convened to drive up healthcare standards and issue strategic guidance to the Food and Drug Union to ensure that quality-assured medicines and safe food products reach local markets without compromise.

During the session, Haqqani called on healthcare providers to adhere strictly to diagnostic protocols and to prescribe only those medications that are clinically justified, urging them to couple medical accuracy with compassionate, patient-centred care.
