The Helmand Public Health Directorate Receives Medical Equipment Donation Worth 1,764,602 Afghanis

The Helmand Public Health Directorate has received a donation of medical equipment valued at 1,764,602 Afghanis from the Fatima Charity Foundation. The donated equipment includes 30 wheelchairs for persons with disabilities, 30 oxygen concentrators for respiratory patients, 20 ultraviolet filters to help control infectious diseases, as well as 20 infusion pumps and 20 syringe pumps for the accurate administration of medications.

Expressing his gratitude to the officials of the Fatima Charity Foundation for their generous support, Mawlawi Fazli Ahmad Shafiullah, Director of Helmand Public Health, noted that the provision of this equipment will create substantial facilities for hospitals and health centers across the province and will go a long way toward improving the quality of healthcare services.
