Inspections Conducted at Several Health Centers, Pharmacies, and Wholesale Drug Stores in Jawzjan, Paktia, Daikundi, Farah, and Nangarhar Provinces

The monitoring was carried out by the monitoring and inspection officials of the Public Health Directorates. As a result, 47 items of expired medicines were collected in Jawzjan province, about 47 items of expired medicines in Paktia province, 50 in Daikundi province, and 50 in Farah province. All the medicines confiscated were sent to warehouse for destruction.

Additionally, two pharmacies and an X-ray room in Farah province, as well as a health center in Nangarhar province, were closed for violating health regulations in order to prevent the provision of poor-quality and substandard services.
