Several Pharmacies Were Inspected in Kabul’s 1st and 20th Districts

Officials from the Ministry of Public Health’s Department of Monitoring and Evaluation of Medicines, Health Products, and Food conducted inspections of several pharmacies in Kabul’s 1st and 20th districts to control prices, prevent hoarding and monopolies, ensure quality, and enforce health regulations.

During the inspections, 36 pharmacies were checked, of which 14 were closed for illegal activities and 4 for overpricing.

Ministry of Public Health officials urged all pharmacy managers to operate in an organized manner and comply fully with applicable health laws and regulations.
