The Non-Communicable Disease Control and Prevention Department of the Ministry of Public Health, under the General Directorate of Non-Communicable Disease Control and Prevention, organized a four-day capacity-building training workshop for 20 doctors from health centers and hospitals in Kabul Province, focusing on diagnosis, treatment, referral, and management of non-communicable diseases.

Dr. Mohammad Sami Karimi, Head of the Ministry of Public Health’s Department of Non-Communicable Disease Control and Prevention, emphasized the crucial role of doctors in disease control and called on participants to share their knowledge and experience with colleagues to strengthen prevention efforts.
