Laghman Health Authorities Inspect Food Outlets and Health Facilities, Seize Expired Items

The Monitoring and Inspection Department of the Laghman Provincial Public Health Directorate conducted inspections of food outlets and health facilities in the provincial capital.

During the inspection, authorities conducted comprehensive monitoring of three food outlets, five laboratories, five clinics, 13 butcheries, nine bakeries, and four hair salons. Health and technical shortcomings were identified, and relevant officials were instructed to address the issues.

In addition, 250 kilograms of expired food items were collected and transferred to the relevant warehouse for disposal.
