MoPH Conducts Disaster and Mass Casualty Management Training for Central Hospital Leaders

The Directorate General of Curative Medicine of the MoPH conducted a training on ‘Disaster and Mass Casualty Management’ for head doctors of central hospitals and heads of emergency departments.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister for Health Services of the MoPH, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani; the Director General of Curative Medicine, Dr. Wahdat Alokozai; the Director of Specialized and Tertiary Hospitals, Dr. Aminullah Momand; several other officials; head doctors of central hospitals; and heads of emergency departments.

Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani urged chief doctors of central hospitals and emergency department officials to maintain full preparedness to ensure timely treatment of emergency patients.

The Director of Curative Medicine gave a presentation on ‘Disaster and Mass Casualty Management’ to head doctors and emergency heads to boost their skills in coordination, rapid response, and effective management during major disasters.
