Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali Inaugurates 50-Bed Maternity Ward in Samangan

During an official visit to Samangan Province, the Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, inaugurated a 50-bed obstetrics and gynecology ward at the provincial hospital

It was attended by the Minister of Public Health, his delegation, the Governor of Samangan, Mullah Mohammad Shoaib Resalat, as well as other provincial officials and local residents.

H.E. Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, said that expanding healthcare services is among the ministry’s key priorities, and efforts are being made to provide standard services within the country so that citizens will no longer need to travel abroad for treatment.

The Minister added that the opening of this ward will play an important role in improving maternal and child health.

Notably, the launch of this ward will enhance the capacity of obstetrics and gynecology services at the provincial hospital and further improve patient care.
