AFN 1.5 Million Healthcare Facility Inaugurated in Sherzad District of Nangarhar
The facility, established within Mamakhil Comprehensive Health Centre to expand maternal and child healthcare services, was funded by local businesspeople through the efforts of Nangarhar Director of Public Health, Mawlawi Aminullah Sharif.
UNICEF also donated a neonatal warmer valued at USD 3,000 to support the care of newborns.
The facility comprises four rooms, a waiting area, two toilets, a spacious courtyard and a water supply system, enabling the provision of more organised healthcare services to mothers and children.
