Awareness Session on Role of Religious and Community Leaders in Narcotics Prevention Held in Kabul’s District 22
The aim of the session is to strengthen the role of community elders and influential figures in preventing youth from turning to narcotics.
During the session, participants emphasized the influence of religious and community leaders from religious, psychological, and social perspectives, noting their role in raising awareness, identifying vulnerable individuals, and referring them to support centers. Information on the referral and admission process was also provided.
The session was concluded with the participants’ questions answered, and the importance of collective cooperation in combating narcotics was emphasized.
