Deputy Minister of Health Services Meets with Director of Private Sector Regulation and Coordination to Enhance Support for Earthquake Victims

The Deputy Minister of Health Services at the Ministry of Public Health, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, met with the Director of Private Sector Regulation and Coordination to discuss the delivery of better services to earthquake victims.

The meeting, which was held at the Nangarhar Provincial Public Health Directorate, was attended by Dr. Ahmad Khandan, Director of Private Sector Regulation and Coordination, along with a technical team consisting of specialists in neurosurgery, general surgery, orthopedics, and internal medicine.

They assured their full readiness to provide services and treatment to the earthquake victims and injured.

They further added that, in order to assist the victims, they had also prepared food items, clothing, medicine, and four ambulances for patient transportation.

The Deputy Minister of Health Services, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, instructed the Director of Private Sector Regulation and Coordination to assign his technical team to the provincial hospital of the mentioned province in order to provide necessary services to the earthquake victims. He further directed that the medicines they had brought with them be distributed to all health centers based on need, and that the food items and clothing be transported to the affected areas of Kunar province.
