Deputy Minister of Public Health Visits Noor Eye Hospital, Pledges Support for Service Improvement

Kabul, Afghanistan – The Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration at the Ministry of Public Health, Mawlawi Bakht-ur-Rahman Sharafat, paid an official visit to the Noor National and Specialized Eye Treatment Hospital in Kabul.

Accompanied by the hospital’s director, Dr. Zahir Gul Zadran, the Deputy Minister toured various departments, observed service delivery, and spoke directly with medical staff and patients. He inquired about patient care and listened to the concerns of healthcare providers.

During the visit, Dr. Zadran outlined several existing challenges faced by the hospital. In response, the Deputy Minister expressed the Ministry’s commitment to resolving the issues and ensuring continued support and cooperation.

The Noor National Eye Hospital remains a key institution in Afghanistan’s healthcare system, delivering a wide range of specialized eye care services to citizens across the country with the resources currently available.
