Director of Monitoring Inspects Health Services in Helmand Province

Dr. Karimullah Halimi, Director of Monitoring and Inspection at the Ministry of Public Health, visited Helmand province to inspect BPHS and EPHS vertical projects, along with several facilities in the private health sector.

The inspection, aimed at improving the quality of health services, providing standard health care to the public, and ensuring transparency in operations, included Dr. Karimullah Halimi and his delegation meeting with the Director of Public Health of Helmand Province, Fazal Ahmad Shafi, to explain the purpose of their visit. As planned, they inspected all departments of health centers in the provincial capital, Lashkar Gah, as well as in the districts of Nawa, Nad Ali, Garmsir, Marja, Nazwad, Musa Qala, Nahri Saraj, and Bahram Cha. They identified problems and shortcomings and reported them to the relevant officials for resolution.

The Director of Monitoring also assessed the condition of inpatients and advised health workers to provide them with improved care and treatment.
